What happens next week when we see a real defense?
by JustWatching9/1/2013 4:35:17 AM
Some here missed the powerful run Marshall made to score in the first half...
by DawgVoiceofReason9/1/2013 4:30:20 AM
Steve Spurrier is sleeping well. Les Miles is sleeping even better.
by eaglenationrising9/1/2013 4:29:57 AM
I hate it when Gurley comes out and Marshall comes in...He's no Gurley
by 78dawg9/1/2013 4:29:04 AM
Spurrier is sleeping well tonight
by SLP9/1/2013 4:28:50 AM
Gurley & Hicks were, thats about all
by bigbobbyg9/1/2013 4:27:33 AM
Bottom line: We were outcoached
by SLP9/1/2013 4:26:40 AM
Clemson was better
by deltasas9/1/2013 4:26:34 AM
Next up for shakey UGA O-line...Clowney!
by Trisha Doherty9/1/2013 4:26:29 AM
Gurley, Marshall and Hicks were awesome!
by DawgVoiceofReason9/1/2013 4:25:54 AM
Agree with Tommy Mao, to many good recruits and never anything to show for it. They are a farm system for the NFL but never get over the hump at the college level.
by Sniscak9/1/2013 4:25:51 AM
Felt like we were playing Bama... Score doesn't really show it, but Clemson very much out played us... Turnovers, line of scrimmage, game management, aggression, coaching...
by bigbobbyg9/1/2013 4:25:28 AM
@ DawgVoiceofReason: That is the first real comment that you have made with any integrity. Although, I have no confidence that Murray can turn it around.
by eaglenationrising9/1/2013 4:23:47 AM
We knew our defense had question marks and they showed why. Our secondary and youth were exposed. JHC coming back will help
by DawgVoiceofReason9/1/2013 4:23:37 AM
Honestly alot of uga fans are freaking out for no reason,.. Its not like they werent ranked and its the 1st game...
by Carter Armbrestervia twitter9/1/2013 4:23:13 AM
We will win the rest of our games and the rug will be pulled out from under us in the SEC title game
by ugakev9/1/2013 4:22:36 AM
1-3 start. If you didn't see that coming last year then you're a really blind dawgs fan. :D
by Clowney's Coming9/1/2013 4:22:29 AM
really 78dawg? you don't see a pattern. wake up and smell the coffee. not about fair weather fans, it's about a consistent pattern of underperforming!
by firstname.lastname@example.org/1/2013 4:22:09 AM
Murray did make some critical mistakes. No argument. The doubters will continue to have strong and valid criticisms of him. He hasn't won the big game (with a couple of exceptions) and he plays poorly in those games. But, he still has plenty of chances to turn that around; he just has to do it.
by DawgVoiceofReason9/1/2013 4:21:30 AM
embarrassing they were ranked so high..
by Tommy Mao9/1/2013 4:20:57 AM
Wow...same ol band wagon fans..Clemson played better and we lost our game...we always start by losing early..fans jump off..then jump back on when we start winning.
by 78dawg9/1/2013 4:20:38 AM
Clemson is good, but if LSU or AL played them in Death Valley different outcome.. bet your house on it, UGA is not in their class and its due to coaching sorry to tell the truth...
by Tommy Mao9/1/2013 4:19:48 AM
All our goals ARE still in place. We've just made it more difficult.
by DawgVoiceofReason9/1/2013 4:19:12 AM
Just for fun make a list of the teams GA has beaten and shouldn't then a list of the team they lost to and shouldn't under M.R. It's so frustrating to be a dawg fan!!!!!!
by frustrated9/1/2013 4:19:08 AM
loss due to a couple of reasons: murray is shaky, not tough enough; offensive line got beat at important points; play calling suspect (everything up the middle);special team mistake; I love Richt but he is a good coach, not a great one!
by email@example.com/1/2013 4:18:45 AM
Top Ten teams do not make the FG snap mistakes or throw interceptions after big turnovers deep in opponents territory. Georgia should have won game. Very disappointing.
by Big Dawg9/1/2013 4:18:35 AM
Season will be over before the end of Sept
by rosezee9/1/2013 4:18:27 AM
UGA will loss next week to SC and to Florida or LSU or both. Pathetic coaching, but CMR will give us ole same ole coach speak like “we can still accomplish our goals…” “Clemson is a good football team…”
by Mickey9/1/2013 4:17:11 AM
Wouldn't have to fake a punt if your play calling wasn't so predictable. It took bobo 2 quarters to adjust to Clemson stacking the box
by Disappointed Dog9/1/2013 4:16:57 AM
come on writing is on the wall, how many more more brutal games do we need to watch, they made Clemson look like a Nat title contender. I wasnt inmpressed, its just UGA is bad, bad coaching, many years of garbage mediocracy just good enough to get there. time to replace with a serious Coach that wants to win it all with talented players. CMR time to go..
by Tommy Mao9/1/2013 4:16:35 AM
NO HEART OR PASSION!
by stendec9/1/2013 4:16:20 AM
Clemson's schedule from here on is very light, wiith the exceptions of FSU and USC
by DawgVoiceofReason9/1/2013 4:15:41 AM
Disagree, there was a lot of passion--just outcoached and out played when it counted the most.
by Dog4Life9/1/2013 4:15:38 AM
Dawgs lost due to: 1) offensive/special teams mistakes; 2) a much better than expected performance from the Clemson defense (especially their D-line); 3) a poor performance by our O-line (which was supposed to be a strength): 4) Harvey-Clemmons suspension which robbed us of a much needed defensive back (Norman is courageous, but a walk-on lacking D-1 athletic ability). Aaron Murray was NOT responsible for this loss.
by Xyris9/1/2013 4:15:29 AM
Hunkerdown, everyone brings a better game plan. Of course, it's not hard when all you got is a run up the middle
by WCM879/1/2013 4:15:17 AM
Great call on the fake punt by Richt. Missing the field goal was fatal, though.
by DawgVoiceofReason9/1/2013 4:15:11 AM
@DawgVoiceofReason: Michael Bennett made three circus catches thrown either behind him or at his shoes. As the Dawgs trailed 38-26 with 6 minutes at midfield, Murray had plenty of time to hit a wide open Chris Conley (#31). Give us your Murray excuse thread for him missing Conley and the poor passes to Bennett (#82) with plenty of time. EXCUSES!!
by eaglenationrising9/1/2013 4:14:59 AM
Clemson will not lose until the last week, but they will lose in Columbia. Boyd won't kick South Carolina around.
