Question:How do the event coordinators ensure that each person starts in his/her assigned wave? For example, what is to prevent someone assigned to wave W from starting with wave R?
Answer: We have volunteers assigned to manage each wave and you will only be allowed in the wave that has a coordinating letter to your bib number.
Question: How can I get a race number at this point? I didn't get one and this would be my fourth year in a row for me.
Answer: You can look for a number to be transferred to you, there are several people who can no longer use their number that are posting to our Facebook page. Or you can look out for contests from our sponsors that will take place at the Expo on July 2 & 3.

Question: Not only did I qualify for wave F and was placed in G, but I received confirmation of the error, was told to mail it in, did so, and received the same wave assignment back. What really are the standards for PTRR?
Answer: If you received the same wave assignment back that means that the time you submitted could not be verified or that the time you submitted still qualified you for that wave. Start wave placement times vary from year-to-year based on the qualifications of the field and the physical space allotted in each wave. We apologize the confusion and look forward to seeing you on the fourth!
Question: I am a walker and will be in the last wave of the event. This is my first race and I see that there is a 2-hour window before the streets open back up. Will I still get my shirt if it takes me longer than 2 hours to reach the finish line?
Answer: The race course and all runner services officially close at 12pm. As long as you reach the finish line by noon, you will receive your shirt. Enjoy your first race!
Question: I'm pretty sure that I should have been in wave G this year based on last year's time but I somehow ended up in J. Last year was 65: 01. Answer: Please email email@example.com and we can look into the placement for you.
Question: Can you please tell me what the qualifying time requirements were for start wave A this year? I was surprised to see that my half marathon time (1:36 I believe from a race in April although I may I have had to use 1:40 if I registered before then) qualified me for wave D, as slower times have placed me in A in years past.
Answer: Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can look into this for you. Time standards vary from year to year based on the qualifications of the field and the volume of runners in each wave. If it was an error on our end, we are happy to correct.
Question: Can we get extra medals at packet pick up. We have a runner join our group by transfer so we did not originally order one for her.
Answer: Absolutely, please visit the Atlanta Track Club booth at the Peachtree Health & Fitness Expo and you can purchase one there.
Question: Will there be a Air Force jet fly over.
Answer: No, unfortunately there will not be!
Question: My husband received one of the Delta silver numbers. However, his number does not have a time strip on the back of it.
