No. They don't have anything to lose. They'll be loose. Everyone is picking the Saints to win.
I wasn't really surprised by any of the cuts.
Perhaps. June Jones is an offensive master mind.
No Sir! Get ready for a lot of 3 and 4 wide receiver threats. Levine Toilolo is a red zone threat. Bear Pascoe is a blocker.
Carrying his helmet in a backup role.
Yes, 65 percent of the team. The DEs will be hybrid DE/OLB in a sliding 4-3/3-4 scheme. Hope that makes sense.
No, Amsterdam was headed for the practice squad. He rehabs and is free to sign with any team in the NFL.
Steven Jackson is the X-factor for the Falcons and Dwight Lowery is on the hot seat. Can he make the defense better.
Yes, the 100-yard bar sound pretty interesting to me.
I think Worrilow will be fine. I expect Prince Shembo to eventually takeover for Joplo Bartu.
The coaching staff was to use Umenyiora as a designated pass rusher to maximize his skills.
Let's wait and see on that.
Saints, Falcons, Panthers, Tampa Bay.
We also have owner Arthur Blank taking about his expectations. I don't want to give the whole story away, but he expects the Falcons to make the playoffs in 2014.
Ask coach Smith and GM Thomas Dimitroff about the pass rush.
The Falcons/NFL Section is coming out on Sunday.
Hello! Who's ready for some football?
Thanks for leaving comments and just watching this week. Take care!!! Have a great weekend!!!
Probably about 10 to 15 times a game. I expect four wides in seconds and mid-range.
Um, I think you can. But let's call Atl-Sea a tie. SF had the upper hand because of a far superior defense. Zach Miller torched the defense. ZACH MILLER. Not Kellen Winslow Sr. San Fran's defense was elite. The 49ers' offense figured out the Falcons couldn't cover tight ends and Vernon Davis AND Delanie Walker killed them. Mix in a little Frank Gore and some LaMichael James and the defense crumbled.
Prince Shembo has a chance to be a player. I think that is too soon.
Smitty is 3-9 vs. Saints. Payton isn't dominating Smitty. How about Drew Brees dropping surgical strikes down on the defense? I understand that. 3-9 against the rival would get you fired in college.
He's just a smallish back at 190. I still think he's a space guy. A traditional third-down back scatback.
They found the soft spots in the defense, while the offense started misfiring. (Harry's trip, Ryan's bobbled snap and Sam not touching Aldon Smith on the bobbled snap. Coaching couldn't have helped any of those miscues.
How about the other team was better. They took it to a weak defense that got exposed. You have to face the facts sometimes that they have better players.
