Jport7uga -- I think you let him rest this week. They'll need him after the buy week.
Walt -- He plays tackle not. Not really a speed rusher.
ROGER: Coach Smith need to start helping call the plays for Matt Ryans, Matt must hit the open man, & stop over throwing the open man.
LEDBETTER: Better protection for Matt Ryan would help him hit the open man.
DENVERFALCONS: I am going to start with the premise that the Falcons lack the killer instinct to ever be champions. Why is this? Who is responsible? and how does this get changed?
LEDBETTER: I don't buy that premise. They've won too many games in the fourth quarter. I think they are young and injured this year.
DUDE: Are the Falcons going to rely more on the run or pass Monday night?
LEDBETTER: I don’t think so
woo-woo -- this is left over from last week I think.
Lovell -- Worrilow is hurt, too. Look for Bartu, Nicholas and Gaither on Sunday.
JamesDean71 -- I think so, but coaches keep saying in-game adjustments are over-rated as they point to execution (players).
Casey -- You are right. Next 4 are winnable games. If they run the table they'll be 5-3 going into the Seattle game
.
Had to post this little news from Roddy. He played too much against New England and is not 100 percent.
FLOWERY BRANCH --- Falcons wide receiver Roddy White. suffered a set back in his recovery from his high ankle sprain.
He played his most action of the season against New England. He played 74 of 76 (97 percent) of the offensive snaps.
“Yeah, and I learned a very valuable lesson from that,” White said. “I ain’t where I need to be yet.”
Asked if he was 100 percent, White said, “I don’t know. I’ll tell you after the bye week.”
White has just 10 catches for 84 yards and no touchdowns this season. He suffered the high ankle sprain against the Baltimore Ravens on Aug. 15.
“I’ve got to get right,” White said. “The bye week is coming at really, really good time. No vacation. No time off for Roddy. No cruising. No, none of that. I’ll be cruising right here in the training room.”
The Saints look bad, except for when they are playing the Falcons. If Falcons can make it through the rash of injuries and get that line firmed up, they could make a decent run this season.
Nobody plays their starters much anymore. Not really sure where all of the injuries are coming from. They did have some changes in their "Athletic Performance" department over the offseason.
I'd advocate giving him one more shot. He hasn't been able to stay healthy.
1. They need to sack him. You don't want him out of the pocket. He runs a 4.5 in the 40-y
ard dash. 2. The oline has to protect better if Jones and White are going to post big numbers.
@Falwkbrave -- He's got Cam Wake this week if he stays at RT. They have been giving him help with chip blocks.
I don't really keep up with uniform stuff. The team's website is better for those non football issues.
It's usually talent and determination. Scheme are designed to work.
Koetter started to use Snelling more late last season. He's more comfortable with him now. I suspect they will split the RB duties on Sunday.
Yes. They've run double tights in both games.
I don't see it either, But Coach Smith says . . . .
I hate fades. It's like a jump ball. I'd rather see pick or rub routes down there. Thanks for your kind words!!! I'll be sure to ask him about the fade route in the red zone. The 6-8 TE should be able to catch them down there.
Coach Smith had been coaching for 31 years and he says Quizz can run between the tackles. So he keeps forcing that issue.
None. They love the corners.
