@DawgPirate: That's a tough question because things change by the minute. Ask me next Monday
@Jmonty: I would say without a doubt this is Paul Johnson's best class if he can hold onto it one more week
@PhotoDave: I've heard Ware County High School is loaded. And their coach, Franklin Stephens, has a good relationship with Tech from when he coached at Tucker High School
@poofed: I don't know. I will have to check into it. There's 200 kids a year from Georgia that sign D1. UGA and Georgia Tech can't get them all.
@breamking: I feel good right now about UGA holding onto Terry Godwin. He went to Auburn this past weekend, and he goes to Alabama on Friday. Why do I feel good? Same reason I've mentioned all along. It's because UGA signed his older sister to a basketball scholarship. That could've locked it up for UGA
Somebody asked a question about UGA flips coming ... sorry I accidentally deleted it. UGA has lost four recruits to other schools, but they've also flipped five from other schools. So UGA is ahead for right now
Looks like Georgia Tech will have 3 WRs in this class. And yes, I expect them to use every available scholarship for this class if it works out with Stewart
@wreckmaniac: Is there a recruiting question in there?
@GT_Jacket: I'd say there's a 51/49 chance that Brad Stewart picks Georgia Tech, if signing day was today. And if a scholarship opens up, then that would greatly increase GT's chances. Some other big schools who are snooping around with Stewart are South Carolina, UCF and Cincy
@Key6288: He's 2016, so we really don't focus on them until after signing day. He's a good player. He's not going to be able to run over guys like that in college but I love his toughness
@Ric: I don't think UGA has shown any direct interest. Georgia Tech has talked about bringing him on a visit this month, but they haven't offered. You know how I feel about Brad Stewart. I think he can play for anyone. He has played against great competition in high school, and dominated them every tme
@Hutch: Both Harland Howell and Christian Philpott are WRs from this year's class who are 6-2. They could grow in college
@JTMoyni: No but that's a good topic. We'll have to grab him after signing day
@Hutch: I could be wrong but it appears that some other RBs may be ahead of Josh Thomas on Georgia Tech's recruiting board, although that's a fluid situation. With Travis Custis, he's not coming back because he wasn't able to take classes at the junior college that would give him what he needed to return. As far as Anthony Autry, it doesn't look like it at this point
@Danny: That's a great question. I guess the new playoffs affects the schools in the playoffs in a negative way because they can't focus on recruiting like the competition (unless you're Nick Saban, take No Doz, never sleep and recruit 24/7). But then again, on the positive side, if you're a playoff team, being in the playoffs is about the best marketing or recruiting you can have.
